We take a couple against the field in a wide open finale. With Henry Hall recommended on the proviso that no rain arrives in the Thirsk area, while Wunderbra is such good heart that she is also worth persevering with in this company. The likes of Gone'n'Dunnet, Playful Dane and Treasure Cay are others to monitor for signs of support. The last named has fared well in good company of late and has claims in this slightly easier grade. However, top weight makes life hard for him and others may have his measure near the finish. Playful Dane is in great heart and will no doubt attract a bit of interest from his faithful supporters. Still, he has a long absence to overcome and may just need this to put him straight. Gone 'N' Dunnett is as game as they come but has a 6lb penalty to carry today. He also appears to need a bit of cut in the ground and looks opposable unless the heavens open. Which directly contrasts Henry Hall, who is a far better individual when he can here his hooves rattle. Kim Tinkler has plenty of experience of getting the best out of him and, considering that he has won off 90 in the past, he looks thrown in off 76 today. Wunderbra is also factored in because she is less exposed than many and is at the top of her game at present. She has very little to find to get involved as a serious player at this level and looks a worthy alternative to Henry Hall for anyone wishing to narrow down the odds a little.
