Classic Lass made an encouraging debut when finding just one too good in an admittedly four-runner Yarmouth maiden and Rae Guest's filly has to be respected on her first outing since then but Godolphin introduce an interesting newcomer in Gheed and she is preferred with Theory rated the pick of the remainder. The selection is a well-related daughter of Cape Cross and, from a stable in good form that knows how to ready one first time out, she looks worth chancing. Mick Channon introduces a half-sister by Pivotal to stable companion Championship Point in Straight Sets, who will probably do better over further later on in her career. Alan Swinbank's Orchestrion has run to a reasonable level of form in both starts so far and should be thereabouts once more but she may have to settle for minor honours again. Kevin Ryan's French import Wallonia now makes her British debut but she looks best watched and a bigger threat is likely to come from John Gosden's Theory, who has shown gradual improvement with each start. Gheed makes plenty of appeal on her debut though and she is preferred.
