    Verdict

Not easy to rule any of these out however preference is for Lakeman ahead of Diggeratt. Brian Ellison's gelding comes here on the back of a good win at York on desperate ground. The ground is likely to be very different today but he should handle it and with any sort of market support he should be followed. Diggeratt showed good resolution to emerge victorious from a Pontefract engagement, and Richard Fahey's charge is sure to have learnt from that second start, whilst Mazzola's York run received a bit of a knock up at Musselburgh on Thursday night. Amorachy looks the type to do well in nursery company, Usual Suspects has shown little to date, whilst Officer Mor was well-fancied last time but ran no sort of race and has a bit to prove now. An open start, with Lakeman taken to land it.
