      Verdict

      Last year's winner Bold Indian can win this race twelve months on and provide Ian Semple (and Linda Perratt) with his fourth win in a row; Five Wishes might be the one to chase him home. The selection ran well behind Rowan Lodge at Carlisle recently on very quick ground, suggesting that his turn may not be far away. He wouldn't want a lot of rain but he is weighted to be competitive today and can win as a result. Carry On Cleo is well-treated at these weights; she has had a few homes and is no superstar but on her day she isn't bad. Five Wishes is one of the more consistent runners in the line-up but is ultimately yet to win in 15 starts, whilst Roundthetwist and Grit are two three-year-old's who are likely to be involved as each has a realistic weight on their backs. Ghafeer completes the field and should have been buoyed by a good recent second at Redcar, however Bold Indian is fancied to return to winning ways.
