Grandad Bill is well-weighted on old form however Livvy Inn has turned in some fair performances against Aleatricis of late and can get the head in front today. Lucinda Russell¿s gelding is a regular feature at the track and has run his best races here. He hasn¿t been able to get the head in front but he has come up against some smart horses of late and doesn¿t face such a tough task today; a big run looks on the cards. Snow Dancer ran a fair race when third recently at Pontefract but he was well-held at the line and his inexperienced jockey will have a tough time steering this top-weight to victory, so of more interest for punters may be Jane Of Arc who has the services of Joe Fanning aboard today. Stablemate Grandad Bill is well-handicapped on old form and his recent efforts suggest that a win may not be far away. However he tries a new trip today and needs to prove his stamina. Blinkers may bring about some improvement with Nayarna and Astrodome, with the latter the most interesting now dropped in trip. Martingrange Lass is certainly one to watch in the betting after a good fourth on his recent handicap debut, whilst Thunderwing is a rare flat runner for Jimmy Moffatt. An open and weak affair, with Livvy Inn fancied to oblige.
