in touch, ridden over 2f out, driven and one pace final furlong
took keen hold behind winner, effort over 1f out, kept on same pace
made all, driven and edged left over 1f out, ran on final furlong
chased leaders, effort when outpaced halfway, kept on final furlong
dwelt and behind, soon ridden along, never troubled leaders
Bahamian Babe sets a decent standard here, ran highly creditably when a close fourth in Newbury's Super Sprint last time and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice for Michael Bell's filly, who gets the vote ahead of Sirenuse and Alphabeth. The last mentioned disappointed in a Haydock nursery last time but is better than that showing suggests; however, Mick Channon's filly needs to improve to trouble the judge. Dispol Kylie is held by the selection on running at York in May, while Ykikamoocow opened her account on her debut in a seller but has failed to progress from that in two subsequent starts. Bryan Smart's Sirenuse looks to be going the right way having stepped up considerably on her debut effort when landing a Ripon maiden last time but Bahamian Babe has solid claims and is hard to oppose.
