A competitive race to conclude the card and PADDY BEAR can take advantage of a plumb nearside draw to follow up his recent maiden win at the track, while Hysterical Lady looks a leading rival. Richard Fahey¿s colt was very game when headed by Seldom in the closing stages and got back up to win over course and distance last time, and a mark of 71 looks very reasonable for his handicap debut. The ground will suit and with the yard going well he looks the one to beat. If anyone can lower his colours then perhaps it will be Hysterical Lady. She ran well over 5f last time and the return to this trip looks a big positive, though she doesn¿t have the best of draws. Raimond Ridge is ultra-consistent, which is reflected in his mark, but he will be hugely competitive today provided he handles fast ground on his first attempt. Moonlight Affair should handle conditions if pedigree holds any weight but she does have a bit to prove after being thrashed when last seen in a Leicester nursery. The drop back in trip looks a plus for Blue Noodles, who ran very well before tiring at Catterick over 7f last time and could emerge as a leading player today, while Liberty Diamond has to prove herself in this ground. Paddy Bear is the one for us.
