John Cornwall's runners are running well at the moment so Mad Professor has to be respected off his light weight but it is hard to get away from CANSHEBEMINE, who gets the vote over Shropshirelass. Zoe Davison's mare showed improved form on her return to hurdling here over further earlier this month when a close second to Paradise Expected and she has to be respected having been raised just 3lbs since that run. Venetia Williams has her team in good heart but her runner here, Red And White, has disappointed in previous starts over hurdles and looks best watched, while Adjami has given little sign of encouragement in recent starts. Jeanry has yet to even be placed in six starts over hurdles and is unlikely to pose much of a threat to the selection, Canshebemine. Jimmy Frost's mare showed improved form when running out the comfortable winner of a selling handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot last week and she can defy the 7lb penalty for that success.
