SIR HAYDN gets the vote here ahead of recent winner Golden Future, course winner Credential and Altos Reales. The selection has had two starts at the track; one where he was beaten by just three lengths, and the other a win here in May of this year. Recent displays over hurdles have been lacklustre but the hope is that he will enjoy being back on this surface and a big run is expected. Brighton regular Astrolibra has been holding her form fairly well of late and looks fairly handicapped, Lytham is tumbling down the weights and a revival should be imminent at some point, whilst course and distance winners Bridgewater Boys and King Of The Beers have the form in the book to play a hand but neither comes here in sparkling form. Golden Future finally got off the mark at the 23rd time of asking last time out; he is 3lb higher for that win and his confidence may be boosted, but one cannot be too hopeful that he will repeat the dose. Only a neck separated Credential and Altos Reales when they clashed here in July; the latter is now 2lbs better off at the weights today and there won't be much between them on that evidence. At a price Bolckow could be interesting as he returns from an absence and the market should be monitored closely, however in a tricky finale for punters it is Sir Haydn who is put forward.
