Many of the usual suspects on view and KING OF THE BEERS can see off the claims of Dot's Delight and Jafaru. Ron Harris has his string in decent nick and while King Of The Beers has struggled to get his head infront of late, he is experienced in racing on this surface and that counts for plenty. Dot's Delight landed a gamble last Monday at Wolverhampton for Mark Rimell. On the negative, she has been well beaten when tried on fibresand in the past. Jafaru has been consistent this year on the turf. This will be his first experience of this track and the market is watched accordingly. Altos Reales has dropped significantly down the weights though not without good reason. Bernix was formerly trained by Tim Easterby and while he has obviously had some issues, he kept on over eight furlongs as if he might come on for the run. Credential won a bad maiden at the track and while difficult to win with, he was far from disgraced at Yarmouth on his latest bow. Cragganmore Creek needs little introduction around here and his turf efforts can be swiftly ignored. Gulnaz belied his 100/1 odds to chase home some better types in a recent course maiden. Mean Machine will probably be of appeal once back over hurdles. King Of The Beers is our order in the first.
