Forty Forte showed signs of a return to form last time and this former course and distance winner is selected ahead of Sorbiesharry and Qobtaan. Forty Forte does not win too often these days but is not badly treated on his best form, and although his latest effort three weeks ago came in selling company, if he is in the same mood, he might take some catching. Obviously, Sue Wilton's charge is no good thing, but there does not look to be a lot of quality around in this class F event. Sorbiesharry has also been successful over track and trip and is another to have shown a glimmer of ability when beaten by Spy Gun here 11 days ago. He is well weighted and has claims, while Qobtaan, although still a maiden, ran well behind Queensberry and will be coming from the back at the finish. Air of Esteem has been found wanting of late but would have claims on form of old and in a race that will not take too much winning, it would be no surprise if Forty Forte were to make all.
