An interesting handicap can go to Kylkenny, with Te Quiero, Royal Cavalier and Sea Holly rated as the main dangers. The Hughie Morrison-trained selection loves it here, having won eight times at or around today's course and distance. As the latest of these came from today's mark, and he comes here fit after a run over jumps, he clearly holds chances. Te Quiero has had three runs back since a break so should be spot on now. He has won four times on Wolverhampton's all-weather over a mile but proved he stays 10 furlongs on turf. He might yet have more improvement to come but has a career-high rating to defy if getting back to winning ways. Royal Cavalier has won from a mark of 86 on Turf (he's now rated 87) and has proven that he acts on this surface so bear him in mind too. Mi Odds comes here in good heart and loves this surface, although he will have to win from a career-high rating if he is going to succeed. Glory Quest won here in March but has been beaten from today's mark since then. Sea Holly is lightly raced and might appreciate the slight drop in trip from his last run. On breeding, this type of trip should suit and, given a positive ride, might yet go well. Now with Mark Polglase, George Stubbs appeared to benefit from the step up to 11 furlongs last time, but the jury is out as to whether this 12-furlong trip will suit. As we say, it's a competitive little affair, one in which we will side with Kylkenny.
