Crazy Gracie would not need to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning debut on the flat but she has shown little sign of ability in three starts in bumpers and looks best left out of calculations in a race taken to go to DOVEDON ANGEL, who gets the vote ahead of Desert Fairy. James Unett's filly has gradually slipped down the handicap and showed signs of ability when a close third behind Lytham at Kempton when stepped up in trip over 1m2f last time; the longer trip today should suit the daughter of Tobougg and she has to be considered on her Fibresand debut. Davana has run a couple of reasonable races here but was very disappointing here over a mile last time and she is far from certain to stay the longer trip today. Rock Tech is more likely to appreciate the distance but is unproven on the Fibresand and of more interest may be stable companion Mediterranean Sea, who has every chance judged by official BHA ratings but does need to step up on recent form to trouble the judge. John Wainwright's Railway Park has become expensive to follow over hurdles and makes limited appeal on only his second start on the flat in a race taken to go to Dovedon Angel. Barring a below par effort at Wolverhampton earlier this month Gay Kelleway's filly has been running well of late and a reproduction of that form may well suffice in this company.
