Ruth Carr's TAPER JEAN GIRL is the only course winner in the field coming into the race and may well be the only course winner after the race having run well in defeat here when chasing home Tiger Hawk last week and she can go one better today with the main dangers rated as Market Puzzle and Delta Sky. Amy Weaver's filly is less exposed than most of these after just five starts but she remains a maiden and is unproven on the Fibresand so may be best watched. James Hetherton's Magic Millie is similarly lightly raced and does have an attractive weight for her handicap debut but she needs to improve dramatically on all known form to trouble the judge. Patachou is another racing in a handicap for the first time and is hard to recommend with a bigger danger likely to come from Market Puzzle. Mark Brisbourne's gelding has only had two starts in the UK since coming form Ireland and he has to be respected having run well on his British debut here last month. Taper Jean Girl has the best form on offer though and is a proven performer on the surface so she looks the one to beat.
