Jazrawy is one of two course and distance winners in the field for this claimer and Alan McCabe's gelding has to be considered having run well in his last two starts both in similar grade but he faces no easy task at the weights and a better bet looks to be FRIENDS HOPE, who gets the vote over Dunaskin. Brian Ellison's gelding has been running consistently well of late and has finished third in each of his last three starts all of which have been here so he handles the surface but has a bit to find with the selection on BHA ratings and may have to settle for minor honours again. Corran Ard has won here over hurdles and Tim Vaughan's gelding has to be respected on his Fibresand debut and first start for new connections having formerly been with Evan Williams. Doubnov won by the narrowest of margins at Lingfield last time and may not be as effective on the Fibresand in a contest that can go to Friends Hope. Roger Curtis has done well with his runners of late and the nine-year-old mare showed that in good fashion when successful for the second time on the Fibresand when landing a claimer here last month; a reproduction of that form may well see her win again.
