Verdict
In the absence of any serious opposition, Ragu looks the most likely winner in the finale with Wee Willow and Untidy Daughter rated the main dangers. The last mentioned should strip fitter for a recent return on the flat but would probably prefer a shorter trip. Wee Willow by comparison is probably better over further, while Solway Gale did not seem to beat much when winning a maiden hurdle at Carlisle last month. Bellefleur has claims on the form shown when third at Wetherby in March but showed little on her latest start and she is probably best watched. True Rose could be interesting stepping up to this trip for the first time but preference is for Ragu. Ferdy Murphy's mare opened her account over 2m4f at Haydock last month and although slightly disappointing over course and distance subsequently is now tried in cheekpieces. The stable continues in good form so Ragu may be worth a bet in a poor contest.
