    Verdict

With Ferdy Murphy's stable in such good form the chances are that Supreme Breeze will be fit enough for his seasonal reappearance and he gets the vote to take the opener at the main expense of the consistent but exposed Silent Snipe and Lindajane. The last mentioned has finished in the money on his last two starts but has an absence to overcome and is not certain to stay this trip. There are no such problems with Silent Snipe, a winner over course and distance last month, but the 10-year-old now seems to be too high in the weights. Topweight Trooper goes well round here and has to be respected despite the burden of 11st 12lb. He makes more appeal than the returning Deneises Blossom, who is well treated on form of a couple of seasons ago but has shown very little since. The selection then is Supreme Breeze, who comes from a stable bang in form and looks to have been found a decent opportunity to finally open his account over fences.
