Anna Walhaan gets the vote here with Diversity and Zonergem the others worthy of consideration in a wide open contest. The selection found trouble in running at Aintree last month when well beaten by Beat The Heat, but that was a decent race and she may be capable of better. She has shown decent form on the flat and is faced with her easiest task to date here over hurdles. Diversity could give her the most to do as this gelding was well fancied when falling at the final fence behind One Day at Carlisle. He hails from the Jonjo O'Neil yard and has to be respected. Zonergem is another that could go well and he looks to have outstanding place claims providing he puts in a clear round. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut, and has already shown that he has plenty of ability on the flat. Of the rest, the Venetia Williams trained Gan Eagla could be interesting if he is supported in the market, but we are happy to take a chance on Anna Walhaan.
