Baddam can take the fifth race with Bulwark and Heathcote appearing the most plausible opposition. John Dunlop looks to have unearthed another promising young stayer and he certainly did very little wrong when finishing second to Indian Pipe Dream over course and distance in May. The Dunlop stayers are in fair form and this looks too good to miss. Bulwark has been a model of consistency this year He appears to handle any surface and quashed any fears about him not handling the trip when landing an event at Yarmouth the other week. Heathcote was always going to find life difficult in a listed event at Newmarket. That said, he probably ran above his form, despite finishing last of four and will be suited by a tactical race. Red Admiral held entries in Group 1 company when a promising juvenile. It¿s a surprise to see the same horse handicapping and he hasn't exactly set the world alight in his starts this term. Aylmer Road races like a stayer but has struggled to get home in recent starts. He appears best of the rest. Baddam has all the right ticks in the boxes and is our call.
