Diamond Katie gets the selection ahead of Quality Street and Music Teacher. Rae Guest's charge is not selected because of what she has done, more so because of whom she finished behind. The form of her most recent run at Windsor reads particularly well given that the winner, Banjo Patterson won readily on Tuesday and has been talked of as a listed type by the trainer. Only beaten by two lengths on that occasion, this effort followed another solid effort behind Wrighty Almighty at Doncaster. Quality Street, a winner of a claimer on debut, ran a fair race to be second to Ashes at Windsor. Sprint races look to be very much her forte. Music Teacher is a sister of Presto Vento. Her last run at Chepstow was a severe disappointment as she was beaten off readily when starting 6/4 favourite. The maiden, Edge of Blue is dropped back severely having competed over six and seven furlongs. Flying Heart's better form has come on a softer surface so Mick Channon's followers will be hoping for overnight rain. Ninja Storm reared at the start at Brighton and never took closer order afterwards. A competitive race with Diamond Katie recommended having witnessed the quality of her formlines.
