A tricky start to proceedings can see Miss Wedge make a winning debut over stablemate Noble Nova, Archon Star and Titus Wonder. This is a hard one to call as the two with the most experience, Noble Nova and Titus Wonder, both have high draws to overcome. With that in mind, it could be that one of the newcomers, Miss Wedge, drawn in stall five, will prove to be the answer. Mick Channon's filly is no great shakes on breeding and holds no fancy entries at present, but she has been striding out well at home. As long as she handles the lightning fast going here, the daughter of Fraam should go close. Noble Nova is having her sixth career outing but has it to do from her draw, as does Titus Wonder. Archon Star was a late foal and should improve a lot on his Windsor introduction, and the market will reveal if anything else is fancied. A tentative vote goes to Miss Wedge.
