Verdict
Born For Dancing can defy topweight, with Zimbali, Heidi's Dash and Thorber Court expected to make their presence felt. Born For Dancing put up a couple of fair efforts as a juvenile, but has in truth looked nothing special. She has been tried in blinkers without success, and pulled too hard when making her handicap debut at Newmarket last time. She has been confined to the minimum trip so far, but if disappointing again today, will surely be stepped up to six furlongs. She has been found a good opportunity to open her account here, with Zimbali the main danger. Milton Bradley's filly won at Warwick last year and has run well in defeat on more than one occasion this term. Heidi's Dash was beaten in a photo here in May, and although she has failed to build on that, should not be totally ruled out, while Thorber Court did not run too badly at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. This is a race in which bets are definitely kept on the small side, and the pick is Born For Dancing.
