Our Teddy rates a tentative pick ahead of Regent¿s Secret and Best Be Going. Formerly a useful performer when with George Margarson, he showed his first glimpses of a return to form when finishing second to Along The Nile at Pontefract. The trip is a little bit of a questionmark but there is every chance he might get it around here. Regent¿s Secret is scheduled to go up 5lb in future handicaps. Jim Goldie's team are in good form at present so a long journey South has to suggest that they are relatively confident of plundering the prize if only to pay for all the petrol monies. Best Be Going has few fears about this trip having been campaigned exclusively over this trip in recent months. Walter Swinburn's horses were initially slow to hand but they have enjoyed a fantastic July and this horse should not be discounted if there is money seen in the betting ring. Light Scent has won for current connections since leaving Sir Michael Stoute. Two years have passed since a last racecourse start and once again, the market is scrutinized. Bayeux has disappointed repeatedly since joining Godolphin. He has dropped down the ratings somewhat as a result and at this moment in time, the boys-in-blue are at least sending out winners, albeit sporadically rather than with any great consistency. Mustajed looks best of the rest. A tough race that can go the way of Our Teddy.
