Sandringham runner-up La Mottie is bound to be popular with Kieren Fallon taking the ride but Jeremy Noseda's filly may not represent much in the way of value and a chance is taken with Silver Touch, who is preferred to Star Cluster. The last mentioned is closely matched with La Mottie on a line through Red Evie but was ultimately a shade disappointing in a Listed race at Newbury last time. Henry Candy's Arm Candy was also found wanting at the Berkshire venue last time, while Expensive would need to improve on the form shown on her return at the royal meeting to take a hand here. The vote then goes to Mick Channon's Silver Touch, who looked useful when landing a newcomers race at Newbury on her debut and probably found the step up to Group 1 company beyond her in the French 1,000 Guineas subsequently. This could well be more her level and the daughter of Dansili is taken to resume winning ways.
