The Tatling, who won this race in 2003, has not been in the best of form recently and looks worth taking on with Benbaun, who is preferred to Reverence. The last mentioned has shown progressive form this term but was well held at the royal meeting and may now be best watched. Pivotal Flame has proven to be hard to win with, while Sir Michael Stoute's Tawaassol looks to be going the right way but needs to improve to trouble the selection. Pivotal Point has claims on the form shown in the King's Stand but was helped by the draw that day, as he is here, and may well be flattered by that effort as a subsequent effort in the Golden Jubilee suggests. The Trader is another to consider but the vote goes to Mark Wallace's Benbaun, who looks to be running into form at just the right time and has a decent draw.
