Yazamaan can prove that he is no 'one race wonder' by beating the more experienced Princeton, with Cry Presto and Petara Bay probably up against it. Yazamaan showed a lot of promise on his Newmarket debut a fortnight ago, winning well enough despite looking green, and with improvement guaranteed, the son of Galileo is taken to follow up on a course where John Gosden does well with his better juveniles. Entered for next year's Vodafone Derby, he will be one to follow when stepped up to middle-distances next year, but in the meantime should pay his way over a mile. Princeton has a lot more experience, and indeed lost nothing in defeat when failing by a head to beat the highly-rated Old Romney at Hamilton, with the third eight-lengths away. He will prove a good yardstick, as like the selection, Old Romney holds an entry in the Racing Post Trophy. Cry Presto was found out in Listed company at Newbury, and it could be argued that he has less to do here, but Richard Hannon's charge has still to prove himself, while Petara Bay would probably have to be something special to lower the colours of our confident choice, Yazamaan
