Blessed Place can come out on top over Tamino, Kennington and Zazous, with Jucebabe not totally out of things. Blessed Place was beaten very narrowly at Sandown six days ago, running his usual game race in the process, and as this is no tougher, he is taken to make amends, with Jamie Spencer taking over from an apprentice. It could be argued that he is as high in the weights as he has ever been, but if the six-year-old can get off to his usual flying start, he has the class to make all in this company. Similar tactics were employed with Tamino who came good at Sandown a fortnight ago, with subsequent scorer Jucebabe back in third. The latter has a penalty to carry and looks held on the bare form, while Kennington also carries a penalty for a recent success and has it to do. Zazous gained a deserved first victory on Turf at Newbury a fortnight ago, and should not be overlooked entirely, but overall we like the look of Blessed Place in the opener.
