Diamond Hurricane, Ishibee and Mamora Reef are the three to look at here and preference is for Ishibee. A winner at Lingfield this month, Ishibee ran well to be third in a decent nursery at Ripon on Wednesday. That was a good performance and this looks a distinct drop in class which Ishibee can take advantage of. Diamond Hurricane has scored at Catterick and Chepstow and the latter success came in a nursery. However, including the jockey's claim he has to concede a stone to the selection and that may be a tough task. Mamora Reef has been keeping good company in maidens, being beaten only a neck by the progressive Ponty Rossa at Carlisle two outings ago. She is taking a drop in grade here, and nicely weighted, is a live contender. That nursery at Ripon looked a cut above the norm however, and Ishibee finished ahead of previous winners so she gets the nod.
