A tough opener to the card here and the very tentative vote goes to Mafaheem ahead of Mitanni and The Grey One. The selection won two sellers in a row and then followed those efforts up with a close-up fifth in a handicap at Redcar. That race is stronger than this and effective on soft ground, David Evans' gelding can give punters another good run for their money. Mitanni drops in trip here having run well over a mile last time out with blinkers on for the first time. If they work again then he should be involved in the finish, especially if stamina becomes the main forte. The Grey One is another consistent sort who looks sure to be involved; he is ok on good to soft but wouldn't really want any further rain and he also has a very inexperienced jockey aboard. Milton's Keen has found one too good on each of his last two starts but he is at home on the mud so shouldn't be ruled out, whilst Gee Ceffyl Bach has winning course and distance form and is taking his racing very well having only made his debut in February. At a price we could see a big effort from Mythical Charm now back on turf, however Mafaheem is taken to continue his good form here with another win.
