        Verdict

        Stratham has the assistance of Kieren Fallon and can end an exasperating sequence, with Nawaqees and Surf City taken to give him most to do. The vast majority of Eoghan O'Neill's juveniles are placed to good effect by the time of their third visit to the track, but Stratham always seems to find one too good. The son of Mozart found only the odds-on Cool Creek too strong at Pontefract last time though and now that Fallon takes over in the plate, he should finally come good. Nawaqees will improve on what he has shown so far, but a bigger danger will be Surf City, who made a pleasing debut at Lingfield despite being beaten by a 40-1 shot. Jump trainer Alan King continues to do well with his few Flat performers, and any support for Zilcash should be noted, but Stratham looks a stand-out here and should be backed accordingly.
