With no form to go on we are restricted to something of a guessing game, but with four of the sixteen entries there is every chance the prize could go to Richard Hannon's stable and Plum pudding is just preferred. With top jockeys booked for all four, it is not easy to deduce at this stage which is the pick of the Hannon quartet, and the market isn't always an especially useful guide. However, Ryan Moore's mount Plum Pudding cost 80,000 Euros as a yearling and is an Elnadim half-brother to several winners. Incidentally, the mount of Dane O'Neill, is an early colt who also makes plenty of appeal. Barry Hills saddles Derby entry, Hunting Party while Marcus Tregoning's Nahaar who is certainly bred for speed and Richard Hills appears to have chosen this one ahead of the other Hills runner Jihaaz. Michael Stoute's Regal Royale will no doubt appeal to some but the trainer hasn't really started to fire with his juveniles yet and we'll stick with Plum Pudding.
