Some useful prospects in this Group Three event and plenty of pace on show, but it will take a good one to beat La Chunga who gets a confident vote, ahead of Queen Of Fire, Nidhaal and Morzine. The latter was a Haydock novice stakes winner on debut for Roger Charlton and the fourth that day, Anna Pavlova, has since come out and won. The stable is in very good form and she should run well. Ed Dunlop's Nidhaal made a very pleasing debut at Newmarket's July Meeting, winning by four lengths and that form has also been franked by the fourth home, Nantyglo, who won next time at Windsor. With the yard also going well, she deserves this step up in grade and is open to improvement. She looks to have very good place claims. Queen Of Fire was a close fourth behind Donna Blini in Newmarket's Cherry Hinton Stakes and just holds Nannina on that form. Both are worth consideration. But La Chunga oozes class and should prove a tough nut to crack here. Jeremy Noseda's filly improved from her debut for the step up to six furlongs when readily winning the Group 3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot at York, beating Vague by three and a half lengths. La Chunga is open to further improvement, effective under these conditions and is fancied to defy her penalty here.
