In depth

Verdict

Belper Rose is much better off with Centaur for an 8l beating at Downpatrick but the former's stable companion HOME BY THE LEE could have more scope than the pair of them. A son of Fame And Glory and related to several winners, he was well supported and made a winning start at Killarney which suggested much more to come. Stops A Nation made a successful debut when odds-on at Tramore but couldn't handle the leap into Grade 3 company at Punchestown and was well beaten.
