Verdict

GLENDAARS WARRIOR was well supported at Down Royal and victory was never in doubt. Not surprisingly he's been hit with a 9lb rise but still looks the one to be on. Barna Venture rarely runs over timber these days but he's 21lb lower than over fences plus his rider's 7lb claim. She'stherightone hadn't shown much before a fair handicap debut at Ballinrobe and should do better while Nancy D'Alton showed easily her best form to date when narrowly beaten at Tramore though third-placed Lucia's Bob was staying on strongly and could be the one to take out of the race. Divin Desir is 0-23 and has gone up 1lb for finishing fourth last time while Grey Atlantic Way has been beaten off lower marks than this recently.
