GALILEAN (NAP) easily landed a Fairyhouse maiden over the minimum before stepping-up to 2m3f and just failing to concede the smart Judgement Day 13lb at Kilbeggan. He's on the upgrade but will need to be in this tough contest which features two in-form Gordon Elliott entries. Hammerstein looked certain to be suited by this sort of trip when scoring at Killarney though stable companion Take A Turn has the advantage of winning on ground with some give and further rain would boost his chances. Victories at Downpatrick and Sligo were followed by a very good run on the Flat at Leopardstown and he looks the best of the stable pair at present. Cosmo's Moon has run very well in tough handicaps at Punchestown and Ballinrobe while Paddy Burns created a shock when scoring over 2m2f at Kilbeggan as he's much more of a staying type. Popong landed a Wexford maiden then did even better when chasing home Mutadaffeq at Cork but this is tougher.
