Verdict

Another competitive handicap in prospect here but preference is for Adobe, who looked an absolute picture before he landed a substantial gamble at Bath last week. And he must go close again today if he is in the same mood. Especially when the fact that he is set to race off the mark is taken into consideration. Parting shot is always dangerous to dismiss and rates as a big danger, as is Dunaskin, who is better than recent form suggests. Sarraaf has done well since joining his current yard and has claims on the pick of his form. But he does save a little for himself on occasions so the lightly raced Mafruz may be the one who gives Adobe the most to do.
