All things considered, Spiritual Peace is the choice and he is favoured over Stellite, Union Jack Jackson and Polar Force. Quite simply, Spiritual Peace holds a very good chance based on official ratings and, much as this is not always a safe way of assessing these types of races, he should go well today. He is dropping to this grade for the first time and, even though he was beaten in first-time blinkers last time, that was in a much better race than this and he ought to feel more at home at this level. He gets the nod over Stellite, a soft-ground 77-rated winner last August over seven furlongs and who is dropping to this grade for the first time, because the latter might be better over seven furlongs. A six-time all-weather winner, Union Jack Jackson performed pretty well when returned to Turf last time and he cannot be ruled out in a race where he fares pretty well on the ratings. Looks Could Kill also fares quite well on the ratings but he does seem to have lost his way and was even beaten in a seller last time, but Polar Force cannot be ruled out returning to Turf as he drops to this grade for the first time. Once again, though, Spiritual Peace is the choice, but keep an eye on the betting.
