In depth

Verdict

Speedy Senorita can break her run of seconds by landing the opener at the expense of Penrice Castle and Carry On Cleo, with Carolina Blini and Star In The East also worth noting. Speedy Senorita has shaped well on each of her three starts to date, but unfortunately has found one too good every time as well. Karl Burke's filly was most unlucky to be short-headed at Catterick last time, as she was giving weight to the winner, and she showed that she can handle a Polytrack surface when runner-up at Wolverhampton the time before. In truth she has done little wrong, and with plenty of experience to call on, the daughter of Fayruz can go one better. Penrice Castle made a lot of the running at Kempton last time and will appreciate the drop back to the minimum, so is a danger to all. Carry On Cleo may not be the speediest juvenile in David Evans's yard but acquitted herself well in a Haydock claimer on her introduction, and should pay to follow in nurseries, while Carolina Blini might be going the same route judged on her efforts so far. She should hold Star In The East on Bath running at least, but she and the rest will do well to stop Speedy Senorita from coming good.
