Namat could be interesting on his reappearance but lack of a recent run is of concern, as it is for Howard Johnson's Jackadandy, and a better bet may be Oldenway with Intricate Web rated the best of the remainder. The selection looked a shade unlucky behind Lucayan Dancer at Chester last time and is worth another chance racing off the same mark this evening in what does not look to be as strong a contest as that was. Overdrawn has slipped to an attractive mark but has given little sign of encouragement of late and a bigger threat may come from Mark Johnston's Communication, although it is never easy for three-year-olds against their older rivals at this time of year. Futoo has claims on the pick of his form but that has tended to be on a softer surface and a bigger danger is likely to come from Intricate Web, who despite top weight is not badly treated in his best and has been running well enough to suggest he has every chance. Oldenway looked unfortunate at Chester though and is taken to make amends.
