Sir Michael Stoute will be looking to recoup the diesel money here with MUSHREQ, who's preferred to Follow The Flag and Moheebb. His only runner on the card has plenty in hand at the weights with some of his older but lower rated rivals, and was an impressive winner a fortnight ago at Nottingham. He cost $850,000 as a yearling, and looks to have plenty of improvement within him. Follow The Flag may be in the grip of the handicapper, racing off a career high of 89. He keeps finding one or two too good for him, but the slight step up in trip may help, as will having a five pound claimer on board in Declan Cannon. Moheebb is one of only two course and distance winners here, but that was a year ago. He may prefer it if there's been some rain, while the high draw won't help. Templetuohy Max is rated 10 pounds higher now than when winning a couple of races in May, and his last couple of outings have been disappointing. The one stand out horse though is MusHreq.
