Indian Trail, Solar Spirit and High Curragh make the shortlist in a good handicap sprint, and INDIAN TRAIL is taken to overcome the disadvantage of a high draw. High Curragh won well over the course and distance on his seasonal re-appearance and although beaten when four pounds higher on his latest start, he has every chance on the faster ground he prefers and he is well drawn. Formerly with Alan Swinbank, Pontefract maiden winner Solar Spirit was having his first run for John Quinn when finishing ahead of High Curragh at Doncaster recently, and is expected to confirm the form. His yard is in good form, with three winners in the last week, and he looks relatively unexposed and open to further improvement. Indian Trail has not won for 20 months, and is accordingly now 2olbs lower in the handicap. However, he showed real signs of a return to form when third in a hot Epsom handicap where he was drawn badly. His draw is no better here, but he is speedy enough to overcome that snag, and Indian Trail can see off his rivals.
