    Verdict

ROCK OF LOVE was an eyecatcher on debut and can fulfil the promise of that run by getting the better of Dower Glen, Midnight Uno and Olympic Ceremony. There was plenty of money about for a number of the runners that contested the maiden in which he made his debut at Pontefract and the form should work out. Rock Of Love stayed on takingly after a slow start and can put that experience to good use. Midnight Uno has made the journey from Somerset to take part in this contest and has to be of interest for his shrewd trainer. He fared best of the newcomers on debut at Southwell and should come on for the run. Olympic Ceremony is nicely bred and holds entries for a number of the valuable sales races; support for his chances should be noted. Dower Glen has the benefit of a run under her belt and she shaped encouragingly in a Haydock maiden that threw up a few winners the previous year. Only one has raced since but it looked a decent race at the time and her chance is respected but Rock Of Love gets the call.
