There's plenty of dead wood in this line-up but it's still not an easy race to sort out and the market could prove useful. Devil You Know, Trading Nation and Peper Harow all have claims but a chance is taken with newcomer TAGSEED. Willie Haggas' good strike rate at the track is due, in main, to his two year olds but it would be no great surprise were this half-brother to a couple of useful sorts be good enough to score in this company on debut. Illustrious relations are no guarantee of success as Soldier's Tale's sister, Bridge Note, showed when performing moderately at Southwell on debut where she was very weak in the market; she may prove capable of better. Trading Nation is related to Fifteen Love and his starting price at Salisbury may have been, in part, due to that; he showed nothing in the race itself but his connections persevere. Peper Harow was highly tried last year and could get involved as may Island Legend who showed up well on debut and the latter got closer to Gilt Edge Girl than Devil You Know did and both are open to plenty of improvement. It remains to be seen which way they go so it looks worth giving a chance to Tagseed to show them the way home.
