BARYNYA should prove hard to beat with Queen Martha and Rockabout possible contenders for the places. Sir Michael Stoute's string appears to have hit top form and Barynya can make up for returning a beaten favourite on debut with the yard's horses so often needing their initial outing. This daughter of Russian Rhythm finished strongly at Newbury in a warm maiden and should take all the beating providing that she handles the forecast faster ground. Barter is interesting on paper but may need the experience and a stiffer test which certainly looks the case with the stoutly bred Course De Diamante and 175,000 guineas purchase Kinetix who is from a top-class family. This trip should be fine for Rockabout who may be best watched as may Queen Martha and Penzena despite both showing ability. This race could throw up some interesting sorts but none more so than Barynya.
