A less than ordinary contest where Revolving World is selected to follow up his win in this race last year, while Fire In Cairo may emerge as the big danger. The selection took this race on fast ground 12 months ago, and there is plenty of rain forecast before this contest, so with the going likely to be on the soft side of good we need something that won't mind getting its toe in. Though he has never won with juice in the ground, Revolving World's sire, Spinning World, acted well with cut underfoot so there is every chance he can do the same and we're happy enough to side with him. Fire In Cairo has not won in 15 starts in either code, but he stays this trip well, has form on softer ground, and has the tongue strap applied, so we anticipate a bold showing. Ellies Faith is sent out by the same yard as the selection and has form with some juice in the ground. Admittedly none of that has been lately and though she might handle conditions she's still likely to be following a few home. Classic Hall was runner up in a seller at Bath when last seen out and if pedigree is anything to go by then with Sadler's Wells in the bloodlines you'd expect her to handle cut, but so far she has shown nothing on it. Skye But N Ben does not really convince over this trip, but has shown some winning form in this sort of company, so in a poor race is not totally discounted. Cape Dancer and course winner Prince Rossi are others with chances here but we prefer the claims of Revolving World.
