The return to the minimum trip looks likely to suit Mullglen, who can go well here for Tim Easterby but preference is for DOCTOR PARKES. Eric Alston's gelding was good enough to win at Chester on his handicap debut in May from a mark just 3lbs below today's. This distance is ideal and he should be able to act on most ground, so there are no going concerns and we'll side with him. Go Go Green won't mind any ease underfoot and stays 6f, so will be staying on at the business end. He is back on a winning mark and is much respected with the yard going well. Rowayton has not scored since her debut and this may be a bit sharp for her, while Albertine Rose has dropped 5lbs since her last run and that could enable her to get very competitive. This is tougher than the claimer in which Lucky Art finished runner-up a couple of weeks ago, and our diagnosis is Doctor Parkes.
