MERDAAM can make experience count against the disappointing Dubai Echo and the debutant Interdiamonds. The Mark Johnston camp is going well and on breeding, Interdiamonds, a son of Montjeu from a dam's family of stayers, will appreciate every yard of the trip. Any market move should be heeded as the stable landed a touch at Lingfield last week with a debutant. Dubai Echo was a huge disappointment for the Stoute yard when well beaten at Hamilton after a fine debut second. There did not seem to be an excuse for that second effort, and he is best watched here. Merdaam has shaped well in both her starts this season. She has been placed on both occasions, most recently at Newmarket, and comes here race fit and with good experience. Merdaam looks the safest proposition.
