Wovoka, Kings Point and Collateral Damage make the shortlist here, with KINGS POINT the selection. Collateral Damage has endured a long winless run, but never seems to run abad race. He ran a blinder last time at Sandown, staying on well to take second in a good handicap. He is well treated, but he takes a while to wind up his effort, and this is a notorious front runners track so he is taken on. Wovoka has won three of his last four starts and the handicapper has generously allowed him to race off only a 3lb higher mark here. He cannot be discounted and looks sure to be in the shake up. Kings Point returned to form at Chester last time, finishing a good fourth, and the fifth and sixth have won classy handicaps subsequently. He has been dropped a pound, and if reproducing that effort, the inconsistent Kings Point can score.
