Abstract Folly is due to be William Buick's only ride on the card and punters should take note that the title leader deems the long journey worthwhile. Dangers may include Let It Be, Urban Warrior and Mister Pete amongst others. The selection hails from James Bethell's yard which is only one shy of last year's seasonal tally already. Abstract Folly provided them with one of those winners when getting up by a neck over course and distance last time and can make light of his revised mark. Let It Be was amongst those behind on that occasion but the experienced campaigner has since gone close at Doncaster and can never be ruled out lightly. Apsara was back in third that day and also has to enter calculations as she's on a decent mark on the pick of her form. Mister Pete opened his account in fine style over two miles one at Carlisle and he may well be able to build on that now and he is feared more than Urban Warrior who should improve for this longer trip but does have his stamina to prove. Hurricane Thomas also rates a mention as he ran as well as could have been expected over an inadequate trip on his seasonal bow and should be seen in a better light here but your attention shouldn't be distracted from Abstract Folly.
