The strong vote goes to JOINEDUPWRITING with both Spirit of France and Eijaaz worth noting in the betting market. The selection has been a model of consistency this season winning two from three. He had dropped down the ratings since last season which was a poor one by his standards. He took advantage of his new lenient mark at Ripon on his return to the track and although beaten into second spot at Carlisle thereafter he returned to his winning ways back at Ripon last time out. He has been raised a further three pounds for his troubles but if recapturing his recent form he can win again. Spirit of France has been winless in nearly five years. He has as a result plummeted in the ratings and has run some fair races in defeat of late and if anywhere near his best he could prove to be dangerous. Eijaaz won at Catterick at the back end of last season but he is yet to get into top gear on the evidence of his two outings this season so is possibly best watched for the time being. This could be a trappy affair but for the winner we return to Joinedupwriting.
